Fiskars - Helicoidal Splitting Wedge SAFE-T

Fiskars Helicoidal Splitting Wedge SAFE-T is constructed according to the helicoidally shape which is a special geometric design which makes the wood burst more easily therefore reducing the need to use several wedges. This tool features a highly resistant polyamide striking surface and metal ring which reduces the risk of flying particles. By so doing therefore there is no need to maintain the striking surface to remove burring. The design is such that it reduces the risk of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and dampens the vibrations when struck. This wedge is made from forged steel.
